Ingredients
  

  • 2 lbs boneless & skinless chicken thighs cubed
  • 1 tsp minced garlic
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 2 tsp cornstarch
  • 3 tsp water
  • 1-2 tbsp sesame seeds

Instructions
 

  • Add the chopped chicken thighs to the base of the slow cooker.
  • In a bowl stir honey, soy sauce, ketchup, garlic and vegetable oil together.
  • Pour over the chicken.
  • Cook on low for 3.5 hours.
  • Remove chicken from the slow cooker
  • Combine the water and cornstarch to create a slurry
  • Whisk the slurry into the sauce
  • Turn the slow cooker to high and let the sauce thicken 10-15 mins,
  • Return the chicken to the chicken to the sauce.
  • Sprinkle with sesame seeds before serving.
  • Serve with rice, noodles, or stir-fried veggies.

Notes

1/2 tsp garlic powder will suffice if you don't have fresh garlic
Gluten-free soy sauce and sesame oil can be used.
