What are Taco Shells Made Of?

- Large eggs. 2 pieces
- Egg whites. 2 pieces
- Salt. 1 teaspoon
- Vanilla extract. 2 teaspoons
- Packed light brown sugar. ¼ cup
- All-purpose flour. 1 cup
- Unsalted butter. 4 tablespoons and is melted
- Milk. 2 tablespoons

How to Make the Taco Shells?
These recipe are quick and easy to make. You just have to follow 3 simple steps and you are done with your shells.
To start, preheat the waffle iron. While waiting, whisk all the ingredients in a medium-sized bowl ad drop 1 tablespoon of batter into the center of the griddle for mini tacos and 1/4 cup batter for larger tacos.
Then, slose and cook for 1 to 2 minutes for mini taco shells and 2 to 3 minutes for larger ones. Remove immediately and place on taco shell former.
Finally, allow resting for 3 to 4 minutes before removing and cooling completely.

Chef’s Notes
The tacos should have a nice brown color to them in order to set hard. Tacos that come out light golden will be soft.

Ingredients
- 2 large eggs
- 2 egg whites
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup packed light brown sugar
- 1 cup all purpose flour
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter melted
- 2 tablespoons milk
Instructions
- Preheat the waffle iron
- Whisk all the ingredients in a medium sized bowl.
- Drop 1 tbsp of batter into the center of the griddle for mini tacos and 1/4 cup batter for larger

- Close and cook for 1-2 mins (mini) 2-3 mins (larger)
- Remove immediately and place on taco shell former
