What is the Equipment to Prepare? 

There are a set of tools needed to complete this recipe. The following should be prepared. Also, I have placed the links for my personal recommendation for you. 

  • Heavy bottom saucepan. This will be used for the boiling process.

  • Piping Bag with Large Piping Tip. This will be used for piping out the churros strips. One of the best piping bags I tried is found here. Whereas, for the piping tip, you can get it here. 
  • Rubber Spatula. This is used for mixing especially for the chocolate sauce. 
  • Stand Mixer with the whisk attachment. This tool will help you mix the batter faster and more consistently. 

What is Churro Batter and Sauce Made of?

Likewise, here are the ingredients to make the churro batter and sauce. For the churro batter, prepare: 

  • Water. Set a cup of water. 
  • Unsalted butter. Prepare ¼ cups that are cold and chopped. 
  • Granulated sugar. Prepare 1 tablespoon. 
  • Salt. Set ½ teaspoon of salt. 
  • All-Purpose Flour. Prepare 1 cup of this. 
  • Egg. Only one piece. 
  • Vanilla extract. Just a teaspoon of this. 
  • Granulated sugar and Cinnamon. Prepare ½ cup of sugar plus 2 tablespoons of cinnamon. 

On the other hand, for Chocolate Sauce, prepare: 

  • Heavy cream and milk chocolate chips. Just a cup of each component. 
  • Vanilla. Prepare a teaspoon of this.

Instructions for Easy-to-Make Churros

Well, to get you started with the steps, here are the steps to follow: 

Firstly, in a heavy bottom saucepan bring water, unsalted butter, sugar, and salt to a low boil just enough to melt the butter.

Secondly, add in the flour and mix until a thick dough forms with a rubber spatula. Next to that is to add the dough to a mixing bowl and let cool for 5 minutes.

Thirdly, using a whisk attachment, add egg and vanilla and mix until a looser dough forms. It will resemble pate a choux. Then, add your piping tip to the piping bag and cut off the opening at the end so that the dough will clear the tip.

Fourthly, preheat vegetable oil in skillet and pipe 5-6-inch-long strips of dough into the hot oil using a knife to cut off the end. Fry on all sides for about 3 to 5 minutes, until golden brown.

Lastly, drain on paper towels and toss in cinnamon sugar. You’re done with the churros. As simple as that, you now have your own version of one of the blockbuster desserts. 

Moving forward, here is how to make the chocolate sauce. Begin by bringing the heavy cream to a slight boil and add in the chocolate and vanilla. Stir until the chocolate has melted and poured it in the serving dishes. You’re done and good job!

Equipment

  • Heavy bottom saucepan
  • Cast Iron or Large deep skillet
  • Piping Bag

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup water
  • ¼ cup cold unsalted butter chopped
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 cup All Purpose Flour
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ cup granulated sugar + 2 tbsp cinnamon
  • Chocolate Sauce
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup milk chocolate chips
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Instructions
