All About Reindeer Cocoa Bags!

Well, when we speak about the Christmas season, giving gifts is always one that we look forward to. We carefully think about what is the best present to give to the people that we love. However, sometimes it would lead us to confusion as well.

But, do not be confused anymore as the cute reindeer cocoa bags are here! You will never go wrong giving these as your gifts because everyone loves a cup of hot chocolate.

These cute reindeer cocoa bags are fun to assemble, cute to look at, and very sweet to serve. They are made of cocoa, marshmallows, and chocolate chips. Undeniably, this will create a good cup when you finally decide to give it a stir. Let’s make them!

Items You Will Need to Prepare

For this gift idea, you will need a few things. For every cocoa bag, you will need the following:

Triangle treat bags. You will need two or more of this and I recommend you to it here.
Hot Chocolate Packet. This could be 1/3 cup cocoa.
Chocolate chips. Two tablespoons will do.
Mini marshmallows. ⅓ cup is needed.
Red pom-pom ball. One piece of this serves as the nose of the Reindeer.
Wiggle eyes. Two of these are required.
Brown pipe cleaner. Intended for removing moisture and residue from smoking pipes.
Glue. To stick the nose and eyes of the reindeer.
Scissors. For trimming and cleaning the edges.
Tall cup. To serve as the molder.

How to Make the Cute Reindeer Cocoa Bags

Generally, the steps to assemble your cocoa bags are very easy. In fact, this could also be done with the kids as the process of making it is safe.

Just begin by grabbing all of your supplies for this project. Open one treat bag and fold over a cup. Next, grab a second treat bag, cut off about 1/2 inch of the tip and place it inside the bag folded over the cup.

After that step, portion out cocoa and pour into the second treat bag. Actually, this works as a funnel for your cocoa and eliminates cocoa residue. Then, carefully pull up the second bag without getting cocoa everywhere.

Here is a fun part, add chocolate chips (mini or regular) on top. Add mini marshmallows and seal with the twist tie that came inside your treat bags. Glue on eyes and Pom’s nose.

For the antlers, fold a pipe cleaner in half and wrap around the twist tie. Then fold the antlers into position.

Just a tip for you, piping bags work for this if you can’t find treat bags. Treat bags just come with twist ties. Also, any type of cocoa can be used.

Along the way, I always want to have good photos of my work. I tried adding mini chocolate chips to the bags, while probably more efficient they didn’t make the best-looking photo so the photos have regular-sized chips in them.
