How to make a cake jar

Have you been by a local bakery and noticed jars of cake for sale? It's the perfect amount of cake to icing to toppings ratio and its far too irresistible to pass up? Let's make them at home!

What equipment is needed to make a cake jar?

Pre-baked Cake
Buttercream frosting of your choosing
Sprinkles, jam, cookies, or other fillings
Mason Jars

How do we make a car jar?
Instructions:
First make sure the mason jars are the small jars you want to use for the cake jars, and ensure
they are clean.
Using either pre-baked cake or left over cake after leveling and torting a cake. Break off pieces
and press into the bottom of the jar
You can use a spoon or a piping bag fit with a tip to pipe icing on top of the cake.
Add in any toppings such as cookies, caramel or sprinkles then layer with another section of
cake.
Repeat this pattern until the cake jar is full

Notes:
If giving cake jars as a gift you can tie a spoon preferably wooden or plastic with a ribbon to the
lid of the jar
