Delectable Cake Batter Popcorn

Equipment

  • Parchment or Wax Paper
  • Microwave safe bowls 
  • Baking Sheet

Ingredients
  

  • 24 cups 2-3.4oz bags of microwaved popcorn
  • 16 ounces white chocolate almond bark or vanilla candy coating
  • 1/2 cup funfetti cake mix
  • 1/4 - 1/2 cup rainbow sprinkles
  • 1/4 cup M&Ms Minis

Instructions
 

  • Pop the two bags of popcorn.
  • Pour out onto a parchment-lined baking sheet
  • Melt the white chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl. First on HIGH for 45 seconds, then increments of 30 seconds until fully melted.
  • Stir cake mix into the white chocolate, mix until smooth.
  • Pour over the popcorn, add sprinkles and candies
  • Let cool completely (at least 3- mins).
  • Break into pieces and enjoy.

Notes

The leftover cake mix can be frozen in ziplock bags or used to make other desserts.
I removed all of the brown M&Ms from the minis before adding them for a more festive appearance
