Copycat Wendy’s Frosty

Equipment

  • Blender
  • Air tight container for freezer

Ingredients
  

  • 4 Tablespoon Nesquik Chocolate Flavor Powder
  • 2.5 cups whole milk
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 scoops vanilla ice cream

Instructions
 

  • Option 1:
  • Make chocolate milk and freeze in ice cube trays if using at a later time.
  • Chocolate milk: combine Nesquick, milk, condensed milk and vanilla in a blender.
  • Pour into freezer cube trays and freeze. Store in plastic bags to create Frosty’s on demand.
  • Add the frozen chocolate cubes to heavy cream and vanilla ice cream.
  • Option 2:
  • Add all ingredients to a blender.
  • Pour into air tight container and freeze for 5-6 hours
  • Stir every hour to avoid any overly icy patches and uneven freezing.

Notes

Adding the vanilla ice cream helps to stabilize the soft serve.
If you are person that prefers the icy version of a frosty (after you purchase and freeze it at home it becomes icier) if you want that consistency you can leave the ice cream out or add ice cubes when blending!
