Skeleton Cupcakes

This tutorial is PER CUPCAKE so multiply the amount needed to fit the number of cupcakes you want

Equipment

  • Pre baked cupcake
  • 1 spoonful of Frosting
  • 1 tbsp crushed oreo
  • 1 standard size marshmallow
  • 1 black food writer pen
  • 1 lollipop stick
  • 4 Mini Marshmallows
  • 3 chocolate covered pretzels (could also use flips yogurt pretzels)
  • 3 blocks almond bark or candy coating
  • Parchment Paper

Instructions
 

Start Instructions Here if making the pretzels:

  • Melt almond bark or candy coating in 30 second increments, stirring after each to prevent burning.
  • Dip pretzels into the chocolate, use a fork to drain off excess chocolate
  • Place on parchment paper to set
  • For a thicker coating, after they set, dip them again.

Instructions for the cupcakes

  • Add one spoonful of frosting in an even layer on the top of the cupcake
  • Add a tbsp crushed oreos to the top
  • Draw a face on the marshmallow and set aside to dry
  • Insert a lollipop stick
  • Slide one mini marshmallow onto the lollipop stick, followed by a yogurt covered pretzel. Repeat twice.
  • Top with skeleton face

Notes

You can mix the filling from the Oreos (it's just buttercream) in your frosting! Or just eat it lol.
